Finn's Birdhouse

On 11th June 2021, Finn presented this magnificent birdhouse to his class that he and his dad made. Here is what Finn himself said about it. Well done Finn (and dad!) for your hard work and for speaking so well today explaining it all. 

“Me and my dad built this bird house. It all started when I was reading my book 'Starlight' in my class and we were reading about the environment and I thought it would be fun to build a birdhouse. So a couple of days later, I asked my dad if we could build a birdhouse and he said 'Yes!' So on Saturday we went to a hardware store and we got some wood. When we came home, we started building it all. He made the roof out of aluminium cans and he let me do all the art on it. It was really fun to make. It took a lot of hours. I am going to put it in my garden this weekend.”
