Debating Team

 Our 5th and 6th class are avid debaters and we compete in the primary schools debating competition annually and went all the way and won the final in 2017. There are a myriad of benefits to be gained by each and every child engaging in debating, self confidence &  public speaking experience to name but a few.

This year, the debating try-outs were held during October 2019 and the team this year will be as follows:

Captain and Speaker 1: Caoilainn Culloo

Sepaker 2: Aiden Hayes

Speaker 3: Kayla O'Connor

The standard was SO high that we also have a reaearch team of: Leah Kelliher, Emily O'Regan, Megan Kelliher, Keelin Reidy and Ellie Clifford.
