Butterflies

Ms Olivia O’Shea’s 4th class looked at butterflies when they got a set of 5 caterpillars. They watched them grew from caterpillars, into their cocoons and then emerge from their cocoons as butterflies. After they emerged from their cocoons and they had gotten enough strength they set them free last Thursday so that they could begin the whole life cycle again. It was very exciting to see them fly away and as they flew away we gave them all a name. Then the children all drew butterflies during art class.
