DIVERSITY DAY

To mark our Greenschool Biodiversity flag, today we had a day of action with our very first DIVERSITY DAY on 20th May 2022! For this special day, we asked children to be as diverse or different, being as colourful as they could be with bright rainbow colours and crazy hairstyles. Children made a great effort. It’s good to embrace differences because we are all unique. 4th class sketched In the Fairy Garden and 6th class went to Senior Infants and helped with reading and games. Thanks for making the effort everyone.

First Communion

Photo thanks to Dermot Crean.

Congratulations to our First Communion children from Mrs Gillian Lawlor's 2nd class who made their Communion on Saturday 21st May 2022. Ye were absolutely fantastic. We are so proud of you all. Please click traleetoday.ieblennervillecommunion for lots more individual photos from the day. Thanks to the choir and to Mrs Moynihan and her dad Mike for the lovely music. Thanks to Fr Vitalis for all the preparation leading towards this special day and for the wonderful Mass. Well done to the children who all did jobs on the day, such as reading, bringing up gifts and doing actions to prayers. Thanks to Mr Robbie O'Connell, Gina Barrett, Rose O'Connor, Noreen, Aine Quinn for their work behind the scenes in the leadup to the big day and MOST especially to our fabulous Mrs Gillian Lawlor who prepared the class so well for the day. Well done all.

Save the bees

We did it with your help! Thanks to everyone who gave us token from Supervalu for the Save the Bees Competition. We entered it on 29/04/2022 so our fingers and toes are crossed now that we might win some funding for our Fairy Garden. Thank you all.

Walking in Force

We had a beautiful evening and a great turnout of walkers and a sporting atmosphere at St Pats Gaa Blennerville on Tuesday evening 26th April 2022. It was a lovely event. Well done to all the junior infants who brought along their parents to mix with their friends. We walked at a steady pace to the end of cockleshell walkway & back to St Pats for refreshments. Thanks to everyone for coming 😃
