It is Friendship week in our school 11th-15th October. The week will be filled with friend themed music, games, secret friends, fun and kindness. Mr O'Connell has spoken to all classes about the importance of being a good friend and what makes a good friend. Children are doing art about friendship too. Lots of pictures to follow very soon! Thanks so much to Mrs Moynihan and her committee from 4th class for planning this for us and for this wonderful display.

Here are the photos from 1st and 2nd class' hikes to Cockleshell Strand. They had beautiful weather for it. Thanks to the teachers and SNAs who accompanied them on these walks.
In 4th class this month, Ms Olivia O'Shea invited children to Teach the Teacher! The children were hugely inventive and here are some of the photos that will show you what they got up to.

There has been a link to it on this website all along, but a lot haven't viewed it and we thought people might need a reminder about how BRILLIANT it is. You can see our children by clicking on our school name on the top and watch videos of children explaining their LEGO builds. Please take the time to have a look at this as so many children and Ms O'Connor have invested SO much time into this website. As you might have read in the Newsletter, we received €2,500 as a reward for taking part in this cluster group. It will be invested in more LEGO Prime and Bee-Bots for our school to KEEP!
