6th at Jamie Knox

6th class had great fun at Jamie Knox's in the Maherees this month.

A Sporty Week

Some photos from Active Week, Sports Day and orienteering. We also did Dance and yoga.

Star Adventure Tour

Our 3rd, 4th and 5th classes went on the Star Adventures Tour, in Kenmare on 22 June 2022. Thanks to the many staff, the parents and photographers who accompanied the classes. They had great fun in the water and on land too as you will see from our many photos.

PINK ARMY

The school turned pink on 20th June in force to support Mary G and Lauren who have very close links to our school. Both ladies are raising money for Breast Cancer Ireland with their 100k in 30 days of June and we support them every step of their journey. If you can contribute or are willing to walk next Saturday 2nd July in the village between 10am and 4pm, please come to Blennerville and support this Todd O’Donoghue walk for a past pupil Andrea who is walking in memory of her dad and raising money for the same cause. Links below if you can help in any small way. Thank you! 100k in 30 days

PA Hike BBQ

We are extremely grateful to Reidy butchers, O’Sullivans delicatessen, Turners, and we couldn’t have done our Parent Association Hike and BBQ without your generosity. Thanks to our PA for organising this day, to the BBQ cooks, everyone who baked, our face painters, Kenny the magician, and everyone from children to parents and staff and relations that came to support the day. Thanks to Mr O’Connell & Paudie for helping with everything also. Thanks also to Tralee Equestrian Centre, the Hayes have always been very kind to allow us park at their riding centre and Nicola even directed traffic. Finally massive thanks to St John’s parish centre and Joan Trant and Fr Vitalis for the use of Curraheen church, room and garden for the day. Joan is always so welcoming and helpful whenever we need the centre. Thanks Joan. Thanks to Joanna, Sean and Roger for the photos.
