In 4th class this month, Ms Olivia O'Shea invited children to Teach the Teacher! The children were hugely inventive and here are some of the photos that will show you what they got up to.
We are Year 3 of a school cluster STEM project, which Ms Rose O'Connor has manned for us.

There has been a link to it on this website all along, but a lot haven't viewed it and we thought people might need a reminder about how BRILLIANT it is. You can see our children by clicking on our school name on the top and watch videos of children explaining their LEGO builds. Please take the time to have a look at this as so many children and Ms O'Connor have invested SO much time into this website. As you might have read in the Newsletter, we received €2,500 as a reward for taking part in this cluster group. It will be invested in more LEGO Prime and Bee-Bots for our school to KEEP! Thanks SO MUCH Ms O'Connor for all this work you have done for us and for the fabulous website.
6th Class at Jamie Knox's Waterworld on 21st June 2021 for one last splash!
6th class on their last day 25/6/21 having a pizza party and delicious chocolate biscuit cake in their classroom.
Here are some photos from our Graduation ceremony for our class of 2021. The ceremony was filmed and the link has been shared with those families. Thanks so much to Ms Debbie Moriarty, Mr O’Connell, Fr Vitalis, Ms O’Connor, Mrs Moynihan, Noreen, the PA, Anne Marie Scott and all teachers and staff (present and past!) who spent time with this class. Thanks to the parents for choosing our school and to the children who were a credit to their parents throughout their studies at Blennerville school.
Ms Debbie Moriarty’s 6th class had an action packed last day in primary school on 25th June 2021. They signed t-shirts in the classroom, had a capacity water relay in the basketball court, a trip to St. Pats, penalties against Paudie, cupcakes baked by Keelin and a pizza party in the classroom. Thanks to Ms Moriarty and Ms O’Connor for organising so much for this class and giving them the send off they deserve. 6th class you will be hugely missed in the school. We wish you all every happiness in your new schools in September and good health. Good luck to you all!
